Van Puffelen
This restaurant has been a household name in Amsterdam for over 40 years. The perfect location on Prinsengracht canal, near the Nine Little Streets (Negen Straatjes), is not the only reason for its success. Both Amsterdammers and tourists like to come to Van Puffelen for the excellently prepared, tasty dishes. The atmosphere can best be described as a French brasserie. Van Puffelen is open 7 days a week for dinner and from Friday to Sunday also for lunch and drinks. The jetty right in front of the door makes Van Puffelen the perfect starting or ending point of a boat trip.
Menu with favourites
It is difficult to choose, because Van Puffelen's menu actually is filled with wishes that you immediately feel like eating. Think of carpaccio, vitello tonato, oven-baked salmon, steak frites or tagliatelle with prawns. There is also a wide choice of vegetarian and vegan dishes.
Groups and private dinners
At Van Puffelen, small and large groups are given space: the playful layout of the canal houses allows spaces to be created as desired. A private space is available on the mezzanine with its own bar, for a private lunch, drinks, party or dinner. The spacious restaurant can accommodate groups of up to 150 people.
